The number of first aiders and kits depends on workplace size, type of work, and distance to a medical facility. First aiders are classed Basic, Intermediate or Advanced per CSA Z1210-17 qualifications. Workplaces with more than 100 workers must provide a first aid room (bed, stretcher, sink).

Online training is recognized in Manitoba; the practical portion of CSA levels is normally in person.

CSA Z1210-17急救 – 中级（16小时）- 符合CSA Z1210-17标准
成功完成本次为期十六（16）小时的中级急救面授培训后，学员将获得有效证书，符合CSA Z1210-17标准中规定的「中级急救培训」要求。
确实需要“工作场所急救”证书？
该特定法定证书必须在立法机构处完整完成：Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health (Department of Labour and Immigration)。
In Manitoba, to become a Basic/Intermediate/Advanced first aider, the person must be certified by a Workplace Safety and Health-approved agency holding CSA Z1210 qualifications. A non-approved provider cannot issue a valid certificate; non-approved online training only complements.
